Kindergarten masterpieces

On back to school night, a note was waiting for me on Jack's desk.
Mrs. Cathcart encouraged each of the parents to leave a note for our children, letting them know we were there.
Here's his note, and mine back to him:

Here is one of the first pieces of art he brought home:

And today, he came home with this. Inside was a drawing of a polar bear. I asked him if he was told to draw something for me. Nope. Just wanted to. Spelled it all by himself.
