En route to CA

While waiting to board our plane, the kids watched through the window anxiously. The pilots noticed them and began waving and giving thumbs up, and to our surprise as we boarded...invited the kids into the cock pit! Jack was a little tentative, but Kingsley of course jumped right in eager to press all the buttons! I made sure to take pictures, and when the copilot instructed them to go back to mommy, Kingsley looked right at him and says "No. Me tay righ hee" (no, me stay right here). Well...at least the girl knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say it!

Jack's an author!

Jack's really starting to show interest in writing his letters and "creating books", so this was his first one where he wrote his whole name on the cover ~ Whale Saver by Jack Hall had all kinds of pictures of ocean animals.

A great night with family

We had a GREAT night with the cousins! Everyone played together perfectly, and EVEN ATE quietly?? Well, that is until I had to break out the camera. I happened to get one shot with almost four smiles

but there were definitely a lot more that looked like this! (I LOVE how Christopher just cracks Kingsley up!!)

Workin' at Home Depot

A friend of ours passed this Home Depot workstation on to us, and I figured it'd give us a few days of entertainment. Though we've had "tools" for Jack for years, he was beyond excited about this...particularly the tool belt and goggles! So, when it actually came time to go to the real thing...Jack couldn't wait to get dressed. What shoes do people who work at Home Depot wear mommy? Do people who work at Home Depot wear jeans or shorts Mommy?

He proudly walked in to his store, and LOVED the attention from his fellow employees. One even asked him about his tools, so he made sure to take each out and name them!

Dancing Queen

I've been taking Kingsley to Music Together classes for the last few months, and we've been LOVING it! She adores both music and dancing, so she's been totally in her element.

Oh yeah...add a mirror to it, and she's pretty much in heaven!

I love watching her listen so intently to the teacher,

and follow directions so perfectly.
