Dino Day @ the nature museum

Somehow, despite the nature museum being so small, the kids ALWAYS have a great time there.

Today was no exception.

Plus…it was Dino Day.  Just mention the word dinosaur, and we’re there!

I LOVED the woman who gave the initial presentation.  She was probably pushing 80, but was as enthusiastic about dinosaurs as Jack is.

I guess once a dinosaur lover, always a dinosaur lover.

I thought her paper cutout of a dinosaur footprint was genius.  Such a great way to REALLY show the kids just how big some of the dinosaurs’ feet were.

Kingsley wasn’t sure about the baby bird at first, but eventually warmed up to it and gently pet it.  Once.

The as-always-must-have picture of Jack as a bug.

Ummmm…pretty sure Kingsley was excited about the face body painting.  She kept telling me to close my eyes so it could be a surprise.
