Cruisin’ to Christmas Town USA

Jaime and I surprised the kids with a limo ride to McAdenville – aka Christmas Town USA. When it showed up outside, the kids came running in to tell us there was a limo outside for the neighbors. Once we told them it was for us, a happy dance ensued…

After a few pictures (with the driver, who placed himself right in with the kids),

we were off!

I took this one picture of them inside the limo, and then cameras were put away. Let’s just say that between the cookies, juice boxes, music, neon lights, and the limo itself…cameras were not safe! It’s fair to say that everyone had a great time!!

While Kristin was at an appointment this afternoon, I had five, and then all SIX of the kids by myself. And….I must say it went exceptionally well!! All of the kids are getting along so well, and are so excited to spend time together. Love them.

Family pics

Our new friend Kate graciously agreed to take pictures for us today. I was SUPER excited for it, though the rest of the family was less than thrilled. (Let’s just say there may have been bribes of pedicures and trips to the driving range, and assurances of an uninterrupted Giants game). Nonetheless – it went great! Brinkley loved the camera (and the marshmallows!!), and everyone else had a blast too! Plus – the pictures turned out GREAT.

Gingerbread house

In lieu of going to the club this year, I bought a kit from the grocery store to make our gingerbread house. The kids were really excited to work on it, that they weren’t even phased by both sections of the roof being cracked in half. They went about decorating it, while all of the sides caved in.
