In lieu of going to the club this year, I bought a kit from the grocery store to make our gingerbread house. The kids were really excited to work on it, that they weren’t even phased by both sections of the roof being cracked in half. They went about decorating it, while all of the sides caved in.
Until finally Jack looked up at me and said, “Mommy…it looks like a meteor hit our house!”. We all decided it was about time to dig in!!
