April’s Phone Finds

I have FINALLY uploaded ALL 5262 pictures and videos from my phone!!  I’m going to try and work backwards month-by-month, starting with April. So, here the month is in phone pics (minus videos or any kind of formatting, since I haven’t quite figured that out)…

1st line: Jack’s caterpillar; babysitting Baby Michael; Jack’s new haircut; Brinkley picking ‘flowers’ (ie weeds)

2nd line: “Choo-choo”; couldn’t make it home for a nap; Happy Easter from the beach; cheers-ing with Kris; again – couldn’t make it home to nap; new hats from Mimi; new rain jackets from Mimi

3rd line: cookin’ up something good; love that face; helping out Brie @ My Gym; the girls swinging @ My Gym; Brinkley demanded a hug from Jack @ pickup; Chuck-E-Cheese’s

4th line: Chuck-E-Cheese’s; first trip to the dentist; freezing on the boat; sleeping beauty; new Latin shirt; puzzle work with Brent

Red Light, Green Light

Jack had one of his best buddies, Cooper, over for a playdate today.  I worry how things will go with Kingsley whenever he has a friend over – will she be left out, will her feelings get hurt, will everyone be nice?  Jack and I have a pep talk before each playdate – just a little reminder about including Kingsley and making sure his friends treat her nicely – and 9 times out of 10 it goes great. 

Today was no exception.  The three of them found a game that they ALL loved! 

 

Strawberry picking

All of us were excited to go strawberry picking today!  On our way to the farm the kids and I talked about what we were looking for…red and big strawberries!  We made sure to skip the brown, green and small ones. 

There were definitely a few pit stops along the way for a taste test, which of course was Brinkley’s favorite part.  She kept saying “I want food!” as she pointed to the strawberries.  She cracks me up.

Hooray for strawberries:
