Happy 4th Birthday Jack!

Jack,
since your party last week, you've been asking when you were actually going to turn four. Well, today buddy - was your day! You woke up this morning, and as we planned last night - we ate bear pancakes on the floor with Teddy, Twostet and Alligator and Kingsley sat with Yaya. You ate quickly, and then it was time for presents. I tried to spread them out throughout the day, but after playing with each one for a little while you'd ask "can I just open one more??"
Pretty sure these dinosaur feet will be the top present. Your little face as you opened this up and put them on was simply priceless.

Are we starting to see a theme here??

Ahhh...a break from dinosaurs! Grandpa Frank sent you money for your birthday, so we took a trip to Target and you picked out a remote control boat. I don't know who was more excited...you or daddy! We went straight to the pond near our house, and once Daddy put it together, you wasted no time driving it in the water.
I couldn't help thinking what a big, big boy I have as I looked at you in your Superman shirt driving a remote control boat.

After dinner, you chose brownies and ice cream for dessert. By this point we've had cake twice - once at your party and another time with Alexandra, so we figured this was a nice change.
Love this picture of you high fiving your daddy after making a wish.

I can't believe you're four. It feels like time with you is going by so fast that I can barely keep up with it. I can't even count the amount of times you say or do something that makes me want to grab a pen and write it down. You never cease to amaze me with how smart, sweet and sensitive you are. You are everything I hoped for and more, and while it's a little sad to think about how fast you're growing up - I know four is going to be an AMAZING year. Happy Birthday big boy!!
