In her teacher’s words

Every month Kingsley’s teachers put a new log sheet in her folder where they leave little notes for me to read.  I LOVE when there’s a new one.  So…before they take this month’s sheet out and replace it with April’s I wanted to record my favorite ones:

3/1: Kingsley was really good today…she was more talkative with her friends and seems really comfortable in class.

3/6: Kingsley was really good today – she kept saying Jack likes dinosaurs…I am not so sure if she does!

3/20: Kingsley was such a good helper today cleaning up after snack – we never have to ask her twice!

3/27: Do you know hoe much everyone in class likes Kingsley?  She is such a good friend to everyone – she plays so nicely with everyone!

Opening game!

After a few game cancellations due to rain, the boys FINALLY had their opening game for the season.  They were PUMPED!!!  This year is a big change from last year because it’s coach pitch, so the first five attempts are off a thrown ball vs. the tee. 

Jack stepped up to bat…

     

Swung.  A couple times…

    

And hit the ball!!! Well!

    

And ran his little heart out to first base!

And then waited patiently for his teammates to hit so he could run the rest of the bases.

     

Christopher had his turn too!

As always, Kingsley was such a good girl watching her brother.  Such a trooper!

The end of an era

I’ve been putting this one off for awhile, but after months of begging…what’s a mother to do?

Pleeeeease Mommy…can I cut my hair like Daddy?  Pleeeease?  I wanna see my whole forehead.  And have it stick up.  Like this. Pleeeease???

I fought it for as long as I could.  Showed him pictures of Daddy as a boy – a little boy AND a “big” boy – always sporting long hair.  No luck. So…

God I’ll miss that hair.  But he’s happy.  And I guess that’s all that matters.
